The caretaker lives 100 yards away. She prepares a great breakfast and brings it to the cabins. It’s typical, tasty Costa Rican food: black rice and beans, tortillas, scrambled eggs, tropical fruit, and coffee. And it’s reasonably priced ($6 per person). She can also prepare lunches.
About 200 yards from the cabins, you’ll find “Locos Cocos”. Owner Henner Morales offers fresh ceviche, drinks and other meals. Right on the beach!
Pueblo Nuevo (6kms, 10 minute drive) has a grocery store and a great little restaurant ”Los Corrales”. Typical foods and a full bar.
If you want to drive 15 minutes to the village of Coyote, you’ll find very good restaurants: Loma Clara, Caletas, and Lorenas. Also there are many well-stocked local markets.
